Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek rozsiedlony we wszystkich krajach środkowoeuropejskich; notowany ponadto z Francji, północnych Włoch, Holandii, Danii i południowej Szwecji, wykazywany ponadto z Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk, głównie w południowej i zachodniej części kraju, przy czym dane o jego występowaniu na Pojezierzu Pomorskim, Śląsku Górnym i Sudetach Wschodnich są oparte na znaleziskach sprzed stu lat, dlatego też wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Zamieszkuje bagniste pobrzeża wód, podmokłe pola, wilgotne łąki, torfowiska i rowy. Postacie dojrzałe spotykano na skrzypie bagiennym — Equisetum limosum L., skrzypie polnym — E. arvense L., skrzypie gałęzistym — E. ramosissimum Desf. Bionomia i cykl rozwojowy nie są znane.
