Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1976:

Szeroko rozmieszczony gatunek od południowej części północnej Europy do północnej Afryki, podawany również z Azji Mniejszej. W Polsce dość rzadko spotykany, znany ze stosunkowo nielicznych stanowisk. Występuje w różnych małych i większych zbiornikach wodnych jak torfianki, kałuże, mszarowe stawki, bagienka, stawy i jeziora.
