Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Motyl spotykany pojedynczo w różnych środowiskach jak brzegi lasów, parki, zarośla, zbocza i ugory. Lata od V do VII. Gąsienice żerują w VII i VIII na mniszku i jastrzębcach, a wg innych źródeł na przenęcie, sałacie i mleczu. Zimują poczwarki w oprzędach na ziemi.
