Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1976:

Gatunek europejski, z północnej części kontynentu znany jedynie z dwu południowych prowincji Szwecji, takoż w Finlandii. Z uwagi na mylenie go z podobnym gatunkiem Elophorus (Elophorus) minutus Fabr. rozmieszczenie niedokładnie poznane. Notowany zarówno z terenów nizinnych jak i górskich, zazwyczaj z miejsc moczarowatych.
