Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek o zasięgu ograniczonym głównie do środkowej Europy i do północnej części południowej Europy. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, rozproszonych stanowisk. Zamieszkuje dziuplaste pnie i pniaki starych drzew liściastych, zwłaszcza mursz wilgotny od wyciekającego soku z drzewa wewnątrz dziupli. Znajdowany również pod odstającą, wilgotną korą, wśród mchów i opadłego listowia przy podstawie starych drzew.
