Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek zamieszkujący prócz niektórych części południowych całą Europę aż do skrajnej północy, wykazany również z Syberii. Występuje w różnego rodzaju zbiornikach torfowiskowych lub leśnych z gnijącymi liśćmi na dnie. Występuje częściej na stanowiskach nizinnych, w terenie górskim wkracza do strefy reglowej.
