Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Danii i południowych prowincji Szwecji, notowany też z Kaukazu. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Występuje na drzewach liściastych pod odstającą korą, w zmurszałym drewnie gałęzi i pni, w stosach chrustu i w starych płotach zbudowanych z gałęzi. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano w maju-lipcu. Larwy spotykano w chodnikach kornika Trypophloeus rybinskii Reitt.
