Taxon description
Gatunek europejsko-syberyjski, znany od Półwyspu Iberyjskiego i Wysp Brytyjskich po Kamczatkę, podawany również z Ameryki Północnej; w Europie sięga aż do najdalszej północy Jeden z pospolitych gatunków biegaczowatych, żyje na wilgotnych glebach, zwłaszcza nad brzegami wód.
