Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w północnej części Europy, Syberii i Ameryki Północnej Ze środkowej Europy znany z NRF, NRD i Polski, podawany również z izolowanych stanowisk w szwajcarskich i tyrolskich Alpach oraz z Moraw. W Skandynawii od około 62° szerokości geograficznej w kierunku południowym rzadziej i zwykle pojedynczo znajdowany. W Polsce znany z niewielu stanowisk. Zasiedla lasy sosnowe, zacienione wrzosowiska i dawno utrwalone, porośnięte sosną wydmy, żyje na glebach piaszczystych, prowadząc skryty sposób życia, zwykle pod płatami mchu, przezimowuje płytko pod powierzchnią ziemi (koło Sierakowa znaleziono w lutym 3 osobniki w zmarzniętej glebie na głębokości l—3 cm — B. Burakowski*).
