Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek borealno-górski, szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie i Syberii po Kamczatkę, podawany również z Ameryki Północnej i Grenlandii; w środkowej Europie znany tylko z gór i pogórzy, w Skandynawii sięga do najdalszej północy. Występuje na wilgotnych, zimnych stanowiskach, głównie nad brzegami czystych wód, prowadzi nocny sposób życia, w dzień kryje się pod kamieniami.
