Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek znany z południowej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy oraz z jednej południowej prowincji Szwecji, notowany również z Kaukazu i zachodniej Azji. Z Polski znany z nielicznych stanowisk rozproszonych w zachodniej części kraju. Wymieniony z Roztocza przez Sz. Tenenbauma (1918, 1923) i E. Mazura (1936), dane te są jednak wątpliwe z uwagi na brak okazów dowodowych w zbiorach. Spotykany częściej na wydmach nadmorskich, rzadziej wewnątrz lądu na torfowiskach. Żyje w zacienionych i wilgotnych miejscach, prowadząc skryty sposób życia wśród traw, pod mchem, pod opadłymi liśćmi i innymi resztkami roślinnymi.
