Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1974:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony od Portugalii przez całą Europę aż do Azji Mniejszej i Azji zachodniej, w Europie na północy sięga do południowej części Fennoskandii. Zamieszkuje gleby piaszczyste, żwirowate i margliste na otwartych, nasłonecznionych terenach pokrytych niską roślinnością. Żyje wśród traw, pod opadłymi liśćmi i innymi suchymi resztkami roślinnymi, spotykany czasami na zimowiskach również pod korą drzew przy podstawie pni.
