Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1993:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony głównie w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii, kilku południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii, wykazywany ponadto z Syberii, Kaukazu i Iranu. W Polsce występuje od Bałtyku aż po Sudety i Karpaty, przy czym w miarę posuwania się z południa na północ jest coraz rzadziej spotykany. Bionomia w szczegółach nie jest znana. Imagines pojawiają się w maju i zanikają na początku września. Żerują na liściach dębów, grabów, brzóz, wierzb, topoli i leszczyny.
