Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do Francji, Włoch i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego, na wschód sięgający aż do Ałtaju. W Polsce z wyjątkiem wysokich gór występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, aczkolwiek brak jeszcze danych prawie z połowy krain. Żyje głównie w lasach liściastych i mieszanych — najczęściej na grzybach nadrzewnych, w przegrzybiałym drewnie pni drzew obumierających, na gałęziach i kłodach leżących na ziemi, rzadziej na grzybach naziemnych.
