Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych prowincji Szwecji i Finlandii przez całą środkową Europę aż do krajów śródziemnomorskich. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk. Znajdowany pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi na pobrzeżach stawów i kałuż, w rowach leśnych, pod opadłym listowiem i wśród mchów na miejscach bagnistych.
