Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Bardzo rzadko i przeważnie pojedynczo spotykany gatunek, występujący w południowej Europie i w południowej części środkowej Europy. W Polsce jest chrząszczem nadzwyczaj rzadkim, znanym tylko z dwu stanowisk na podstawie okazów znalezionych przed około 40 laty. Występowanie w naszym kraju wymaga dokładniejszych badań, gdyż prawdopodobnie przez Polskę przebiega północna granica zasięgu tego gatunku. Warunki ekologiczne słabo poznane, znajdowany głównie w napływkach na pobrzeżach wód płynących.
