Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Wysp Brytyjskich, południowych prowincji Fennoskandii oraz Karelii aż do Hiszpanii, Włoch północnych, Jugosławii, Banatu i Ukraińskiej SRR, wykazywany nadto z Kaukazu i obszaru wokół Morza Kaspijskiego. W Europie środkowej zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie, w południowej części swego areału występuje w górach i na przedgórzach. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk w ośmiu krainach. Występuje w gnijących pniach i pniakach sosen, świerków i jodeł.
