Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem cały Podobszar Śródziemnomorski, notowany też z nielicznych stanowisk w południowo-wschodniej części Europy środkowej. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony; najbliższe nieliczne stanowiska leżą w Austrii Dolnej, gdzie zresztą jest bardzo rzadkim chrząszczem. Ogólnikowo wykazany z Polski przez M. Łomnickiego oraz jedynej wzmianki sprzed przeszło stu lat o znalezieniu tego chrząszcza 2 VII 1870 r. na ścieżce wiodącej z Gocławka do Grochowa koło Warszawy. Możliwe, że spotkany chrząszcz przez F. Osterloffa był przypadkowo zawleczony z obszarów południowych.
