Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, ponadto wykazany z Azji Mniejszej i Syberii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Zamieszkuje głównie na niżu i w niższych położeniach górskich. Występuje na piaszczystych pobrzeżach rzecznych i terenach leśnych. Poławiany pod kamieniami, gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi, w napływkach, nawozie, pod ekskrementami, na padlinie, wśród mchów i opadłych, przegrzybiałych liści.
