Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek występujący głównie w południowej i środkowej części Europy, znany ponadto z Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii, dwu południowych prowincji Szwecji, jednej prowincji Finlandii oraz z południowej Syberii. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany, znany tylko z sześciu stanowisk. Zasiedla miejsca wilgotne na terenach nizinnych i górzystych, poławiany przeważnie pod napływkami.
