Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na liliowatych, takich jak pajęcznica, kokoryczka i konwalia. Żeruje pojedynczo na spodniej stronie liści, powodując ich żółknięcie i usychanie. U nas znaleziony na konwalii — Convallaria maialis L.
