Taxon description
Europa, zachodnia Syberia, Bliski Wschód, północna Afryka, Ameryka Północna.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na młodych pędach i spodniej stronie liści bylicy pospolitej — Artemisia vulgaris L. i bylicy piołunu — Artemisia absinthium L. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
