Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa, Ameryka Północna.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje w kwiatostanach krwawników — Achillea millefolium L., Achillea pannonica Scheele, rzadziej na innych złożonych — Anthemis arvensis L., Chrysanthemum parthenium (L.) Bernh. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
