Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa, zachodnia Syberia, Mongolia; Ameryka Północna, Argentyna.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny. Żyje na końcach pędów i spodniej stronie liści wrotyczu pospolitego — Tanacetum vulgare L., a przejściowo także na złocieniach — Chrysanthemum L. sp. Notowany jako wektor chorób wirusowych.
