Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Obszar rozsiedlenia tego gatunku obejmuje zachodnią i środkową część Europy, północne Włochy i obszary górzyste Bośni; notowano go ponadto z Syberii Zachodniej, Turkmenii i Tybetu. W Polsce jest gatunkiem pospolitym, notowanym prawie ze wszystkich krain. Występuje w miejscach wilgotnych na polach, łąkach, nieużytkach, przychaciach, pobrzeżach wód, wrzosowiskach i solniskach. Żyje na rdeście ostrogorzkim — Polygonum hydropiper L., rdeście plamistym — P. persicaria L. i rdeście ptasim — P. aviculare L.; na wybrzeżach morskich oraz na solniskach śródlądowych poławiany na mieczniku nadmorskim — Glaux maritima L. Postacie dojrzałe zimują w ściółce liściastej, w kępach traw i mchów oraz wśród szczątków roślinnych.
