Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony od Wysp Kanaryjskich i północno-zachodniej Afryki przez zachodnią, południową i środkową Europę aż do zachodniej i środkowej Azji. W Polsce wykazany zaledwie z kilku stanowisk. Znajdowany przeważnie na piaszczystych i żwirowatych pobrzeżach potoków, rzek i jezior górskich i podgórskich, ale notowany również z terenów nizinnych, gdzie prawdopodobnie był zniesiony wodami popowodziowymi.
