Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
[KFP 1584: Scopaeus minutus] Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej Europie, notowany również z południowych części Szwecji i Finlandii. Występowanie w Polsce niedostatecznie poznane, gdyż mylony z innymi gatunkami. Dane z ubiegłego stulecia wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Żyje na gliniasto-piaszczystych zboczach, skarpach, urwiskach skąpo porośniętych roślinnością, nadto spotykany w dołach po wybranej glinie i w kamieniołomach wapienia.

[KFP 1583: Scopaeus didymus] Gatunek rozmieszczony w południowej Europie, południowej części środkowej Europy oraz zachodniej części północnej Afryki. W Polsce jest chrząszczem bardzo rzadko spotykanym; wykazany jedynie z kilku stanowisk w południowej części kraju. Znajdowany na zboczach kserotermicznych, zwłaszcza na glebach wapiennych, na pobrzeżach dróg polnych pod kamieniami i między korzeniami traw.
