Taxon description
Gatunek szeroko rozsiedlony w Europie (nie znany z północnej części kontynentu) sięga na wschód do południowej części zachodniej Syberii oraz środkowej Azji. Zasiedla otwarte, cieplejsze s:edliska, spotykany szczególnie na łąkach porośniętych m. in. trawami gatunków z rodzajów Poa L., Festuca L. i Hokus L. Występuje również na wilgotniejszych glebach pól uprawnych, gdzie rośnie chwast — miotła zbożowa — Apera spica-venti L.
