Taxon description
Gatunek mało znany, gdyż stosunkowo niedawno opisany; notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w Europie Środkowej, Szwajcarii, Francji, na Półwyspie Bałkańskim i w Turkmenii. W Polsce wykazany dotychczas z Pojezierza Mazurskiego oraz z ośmiu południowych krain. Rzadko spotykany gatunek kserotermofilny. Zasiedla lasy sosnowe, piaszczyste zbocza i kamieniste miejsca. Żyje na smagliczce pagórkowej — Alyssum montanum L. i smagliczce kielichowatej — A. calycinum L. Larwy żerują w owocach.
