Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek zamieszkujący Europę, Azję Mniejszą, Iran, Turkmenię, Kazachstan i zachodnie Chiny; w Fennoskandii docierający do skrajnych prowincji północnych. Zamieszkuje tereny piaszczyste, pastwiska, miedze, ugory, przydroża i suche zbocza. Jako rośliny żywicielskie podawano różne gatunki z rodziny złożonych — Compositae, jak krwawniki — Achillea L., bylice — Artemisia L. i złocienie — Chrysanthemum L. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od wiosny do jesieni.
