Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w północnych prowincjach Fennoskandii i Karelii, znany ponadto z Syberii i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. Jedyna wzmianka sprzed przeszło stu lat o znalezieniu tego chrząszcza w okolicy Pułtuska i w Ojcowie polegała zapewne na pomyłce. M. Łomnicki (1913) nie zaliczył omawianego gatunku do fauny krajowej. Również bardzo dawne ogólnikowe doniesienia o występowaniu w byłych Prusach nie znalazły później potwierdzenia.
