Gatunek zamieszkuje południowo-wschodnią i środkową część Europy, nadto znany z kilku południowych prowincji Finlandii i jednej prowincji Szwecji. Żyje na otwartych, nasłonecznionych terenach, zasiedlając głównie suche gleby piaszczyste.
