Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1976:

Gatunek obejmujący swym zasięgiem głównie górskie tereny w środkowej Europie, znany również z Wysp Brytyjskich i Finlandii, w Austrii, występuje w górach do strefy subalpejskiej. W Polsce rzadko notowany zarówno z terenów górzystych jak i nizinnych. Poławiany zazwyczaj gromadnie w wilgotnym piasku na pobrzeżach potoków i strumieni.
