Taxon description
Gatunek żyjący w wyższych partiach górskich środkowej Europy (Alpy, Sudety, Karpaty). Wiadomości o występowaniu w Sudetach oparte są na okazach znalezionych przed około stu laty. Obecne występowanie w naszym kraju wymaga dokładnych badań terenowych. Ze Śląska, bez określenia miejscowości, wykazywany przez wielu autorów, wzmianki te mogą się tymczasem odnosić tylko do Sudetów. Rozmieszczenie na Śląsku zaopatruje znakiem zapytania A. Knisch (1924). Znajdowany zwykle w strefie subalpejskiej i alpejskiej w kałużach i rozlewiskach powstałych z płatów topniejącego śniegu.
