Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w północnej i środkowej Europie, na zachód sięgający do środkowej Francji, a na południe do środkowych Włoch i północnego Bałkanu. W Polsce, prócz wysokich gór, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, lecz brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain. Występuje na wilgotnych glebach w lasach, na łąkach i polach, gdzie znajdowany w ściółce, wśród mchów, pod kamieniami, opadłym listowiem i rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
