Taxon description
[KFP 3818: Mordella huetheri] Gatunek znany ze środkowej i południowo-wschodniej części Europy, na północ docierający do południowych prowincji Skandynawii, a na południe do północno-wschodnich Włoch. W Polsce stosunkowo niedawno wykazany z jednego stanowiska na Pojezierzu Mazurskim oraz ogólnikowo, bez bliższych danych, z Polski Zachodniej.
[KFP 3815: Mordella aculeata] Gatunek występujący w północnej i środkowej oraz lokalnie w południowej Europie. W Polsce notowany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Zamieszkuje tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Larwy odbywają rozwój w próchniejącym drewnie drzew liściastych. Chrząszcze ukazują się w kwietniu i przeżywają do sierpnia, w górach spotykane bywają jeszcze we wrześniu; poławiano je na kwiatach tawuły — Spiraea L., wilczomleczu — Euphorbia L., róży dzikiej — Rosa canina L. oraz niektórych baldaszkowatych — Umbelliferae i złożonych — Compositae.
