Taxon description
Gatunek rozpowszechniony w środkowej i północnej Europie (nie znany dotychczas z Anglii), w Fennoskandii sięgający skrajnych prowincji północnych, notowany również z Kaukazu i obszaru wokół Morza Kaspijskiego. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk, przy tym zasiedlenie Śląska Dolnego wymaga potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami, gdyż wzmianka o znalezieniu omawianego gatunku jakoby koło Wrocławia (Letzner 1891, Gerhardt 1910) oparta była na jednym okazie. Występuje na mokradłach, torfowiskach, w bagnistych lasach i na pobrzeżach wód. Spotykany zwłaszcza pod napływkami, opadłym listowiem i wśród mchów.
