Taxon description
Gatunek borealno-alpejski, rozmieszczony głównie w północnej części Fennoskandii, znany również z wyższych partii górskich w Alpach, Sudetach i Beskidach. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany, pewne jego stanowiska leżą w Sudetach. Występowanie na Śląsku jest wątpliwe, a ogólnikowe wzmianki o występowaniu w Beskidach winny być potwierdzone udokumentowanymi danymi, dotyczącymi polskiej części tych gór.
