Taxon description
Gatunek o słabo poznanym rozmieszczeniu i biologii, wykazywany głównie z obszarów górzystych w południowej Europie i w południowej części środkowej Europy. W Polsce chrząszcz bardzo rzadko spotykany, od kilkudziesięciu lat nie notowany. Występowanie omawianego gatunku na północy wątpliwe, z sąsiadujących z nim krajów znany z południowej części Słowacji.
