Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1992:
Gatunek ten występuje głównie w południowej części Europy i Azji Mniejszej, lokalnie i rzadko spotykany w Europie Środkowej, notowany ponadto ze Szwecji. W Polsce znany z siedmiu krain południowych oraz Pojezierza Mazurskiego. Zamieszkuje suche tereny piaszczyste, dobrze nasłonecznione wzgórza, lasy sosnowe. Jako rośliny żywicielskie były podawane macierzanka piaskowa — Thymus serpyllum (L.) Fr., macierzanka zwyczajna — Th. pulegioides L., macierzanka austriacka — Th. austriacus Bernh. i macierzanka Marschalla — Th. marschallianus Willd. Bionomia tego gatunku i cykl rozwojowy nie są znane.
