Taxon description
Gatunek dość rzadko spotykany, choć szeroko rozpowszechniony w Europie; rozmieszczony od północnej części Hiszpanii, środkowych Włoch i europejskiej części Turcji aż do środkowej Fennoskandii, notowany również z Syberii i Kaukazu. Zasiedla raczej dość suche gleby piaszczyste (zwłaszcza z domieszką żwiru) na terenach otwartych, słabo zacienionych, spotykany zwłaszcza na nasłonecznionych skarpach, stokach i innych pochyłościach terenowych, na skrajach lasów i w dołach po wybranym żwirze, niekiedy występuje liczniej na malej, ograniczonej przestrzeni.
