Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986b:

Gatunek bardzo rzadki, przeważnie pojedynczo spotykany. Notowano go poza Polską jeszcze z nielicznych stanowisk w Anglii, Francji, Danii, Austrii, Banacie oraz z Hamburga. Rozmieszczenie tego chrząszcza w Polsce jest nadzwyczaj słabo zbadane, mimo że był opisany przeszło 80 lat temu z naszego kraju. Dotychczas znane są tylko dwa stanowiska w zachodniej części kraju i jedno w Polsce południowo-wschodniej. Wymagania ekologiczne nie są znane.
