Taxon description
Gatunek górski, znany z całej środkowej Europy, wykazywany również z północnych części Włoch i Bałkanów. W Polsce dość rzadko notowany, przy tym większość danych oparta na znaleziskach sprzed przeszło stu laty. Występuje w drzewostanach dolnoreglowych i na polanach docierając do strefy subalpejskiej, wiosną poławiany na kwitnących wierzbach, olchach, głogach i roślinach runa.
