Burakowski et al. 1979:

Gatunek znany głównie z pogórzy i gór w środkowej Europie, notowany również z Francji, północnych części Włoch, i Bałkanów. Wszędzie rzadko i sporadycznie, przeważnie lokalnie spotykany. Dane o występowaniu w Polsce, oparte na znaleziskach z ubiegłego stulecia, wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Poławiany na kwitnących roślinach.
