Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w górach i na pogórzach środkowej Europy, wykazywany również z północnych i środkowych Włoch oraz z północnych Bałkanów. W Polsce dość rzadko notowany, przy tym większość danych oparto na znaleziskach sprzed przeszło stu laty. Znajdowany na kwitnących wierzbach i pełniku europejskim — Troillus europaeus L.
