Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Podgatunek nominatywny wykazywany z Wysp Brytyjskich, Fennoskandii i z wyższych stref Pirenejów, Alp i Sudetów. Rozmieszczenie w Polsce podgatunku nominatywnego wymaga dokładniejszych badań wobec stwierdzenia zarówno w Tatrach jak i Beskidach Zachodnich drugiego podgatunku omówionego powyżej. Spotykany zwykle ponad górną granicą, lasu na pobrzeżach wód i pod kamieniami w otoczeniu płatów topniejącego śniegu.

Burakowski et al. 1979:

[KFP 1329: Psephidonus kunzei] Gatunek borealno-alpejski, rozprzestrzeniony w górach północnej i środkowej Europy, notowany również z gór Francji oraz z Pirenejów. Wykazuje zróżnicowanie na dwa podgatunki o niedostatecznie jeszcze poznanym rozsiedleniu zarówno ogólnym jak i na naszym obszarze.
