Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południowo-wschodnią część Europy, skąd dociera do nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk w Austrii, na Węgrzech, w Słowacji i południowej części Polski. U nas chrząszcz ten jest bardzo rzadko spotykany — notowany tylko z dwu krain. Wymagania środowiskowe i bionomia nie są znane.

Kuśka 1995:

Gatunek błędnie podany z Polski tylko przez Tenenbauma (1925, 1931, 1938) z Tenczynka, Ojcowa i z Pienin. Wszystkie okazy dowodowe (coll. IZ) należą do Rhagonycha atra (L.) (1 samica) i R. gallica Pic. Z Podola znane są liczne okazy tego gatunku (coli. ISEZ, IZ).
