Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w całej północnej i środkowej części Europy, docierający na zachód do wschodniej Francji, a na południe do północnych Włoch i Rumunii; notowany także z Kaukazu. W Polsce prócz Sudetów Zachodnich notowany z pojedynczych stanowisk. Zamieszkuje głównie tereny pagórkowate i górzyste, sięgając niekiedy ponad górną granicę lasu, natomiast na terenach nizinnych występuje lokalnie. Pojaw postaci dojrzałych rozpoczyna się wczesną wiosną i trwa do sierpnia, a optimum występowania przypada na czerwiec i lipiec. Jest poławiany w lasach iglastych na borówce czarnej — Vaccinium myrtillus L. oraz na chruście z gałęzi świerka.
