Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1985:

Bardzo rzadki i lokalny gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu, notowany z południowej Francji, północnych Włoch, Serbii oraz południowej części Europy Środkowej. W Polsce znany tylko z trzech krain południowo-zachodnich. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i niższe położenia górskie. Jest poławiany przeważnie na wilgotnych łąkach na roślinności trawiastej i zielnej. Spotykane są zwykle tylko samice — na kilkaset znajdowanych okazów trafia się zaledwie jeden samiec, w związku z tym samce nie są reprezentowane nawet w większych zbiorach muzealnych.
