Taxon description
Klimaszewski 1967:
Rozmieszczenie nie jest dotąd poznane w zadowalającym stopniu. Mimo że od opisania tego gatunku pod nazwą Psylla insignis Flor w r. 1861 (ponieważ w rodzaju Psylla Geoffr. już wcześniej użyta była nazwa insignis, Puton wprowadził nową) minęło już ponad sto lat, podany był tylko ze Skandynawii przez Reutera (1876) oraz z Polski. Żyje na wierzbach — Salix L. sp., biologia zupełnie nie zbadana.
